Editing Your Site Info

Your site info is an important area as it contains the details that help identify your site, such as “Title”, “Description”, “Category” and many other settings. The following tutorial will show you how to manage your site info.

Where is the “Site Info”?

When in the Admin Control Panel, navigate to “Settings” and click “Site Info”. The tutorials below will show you the various settings available. When done making changes, please click “Save Changes”.

How do I Edit the “Site Title”?

The setting “Site Title” has an input box for you to enter what you want for the title of your site. The title you choose will appear on the front end of your site in a few different places. It will appear anywhere the <title> tag shows up in the HTML page template as well as in some emails. Please note the title will be replaced on your site’s front end if you choose to upload a logo instead. To illustrate what this would look like we have created an example in which we changed our “Site Title” to “Penguins".

How Do I Edit the “Site Description”?

The “Site Description” setting has an input box that accepts HTML and tags. In our screenshot, you’ll see we used the {site.title} tag. That tag will pull the info from the “Site Title” that you set above.

How Do I Change the Site Timezone?

To change your site’s timezone, scroll down to the setting “Timezone” and click the drop down arrow. Select your timezone from the list.
